Website and digital modernization

OFFICE OF PERSONNEL MANAGEMENT (OPM): Improving OPM.gov for federal workforce and job seekers

Challenge: OPM.gov helps the federal government recruit job seekers, supplies the federal workforce with career-related information, and makes it easier for public servants to manage their benefits. With over 22 million people visiting the site each year, it’s critical that users are able to easily and quickly find the information they need. However, many users struggled with navigating the site’s 20,000+ pages, encountering inactive links, outdated content, and a confusing interface.

Approach & Outcomes: Using a customer-focused design approach, OPM developed the website architecture, digital experience, and content strategy to redesign and launch the initial pilot for opm.gov. Additionally, during the course of this project they completed two minimum viable products.
